Site Engineer – Commercial Construction – Coffs Harbour
 
Site Engineer / Project Coordinator / Project Engineer required for a High-Rise Apartment block – already under construction, Start ASAP.

Our client are a Long established Commercial Construction Management Company who carry out a range of property upgrades, maintenance and repairs on mostly occupied properties all over Australia. (E.g. Schools /Hospitals /Nursing Homes/ Shopping Centres etc.)
 
They currently employ over 200 plus Permanent Commercial Construction management professionals across Sydney, Regional NSW and the ACT.
 
They are currently delivering a $150m high rise apartment block in Coffs Harbour.
 
Due to a recent internal promotion a newly created position has become available for a Site Engineer / Project Coordinator or similar.
 
Reporting to a very experienced Project Manager and Site Manager, we are now looking for Site Engineer / Project Engineer or similar who can assist with the documentation of ITPs / RFIs / SWMS /   and general day to day administration.
 
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to be mentored by a great team of Construction management professionals.
 
The role can be contract and / or permanent.
 
Other essential requirements are:
 

1. Unrestricted work rights in Australia.
2. A good understanding of Building Processes  and systems integration etc. etc. (EG How things go together such as building structures   / HVAC / Lifts / hydraulics / Fire services / security systems / Finishes / Landscaping etc.
3. Current White Card.
4. Ability to work in a collaborative manner with all parties.
5. Ability to identify risk and opportunity.
6. Checkable References
7. Outstanding Oral and written communication skills as you will be required to keep written records on site and  verbally communicate with all parties.
8. An accommodating persona as you will be working in a live /sensitive environment.
9. Experience with Cheops / Procore / Nexvia /Aconex / Hammertech or similar will be highly regarded.
10. Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and clean police check.

 Rates / salaries etc. will be negotiated with successful applicant.
