Established over twenty years ago, our client is a very successful family friendly company who fabricate and install structural steel systems, via tier Two Commercial Builders, in commercial structures such as Schools / offices / industrial warehouses / Hospitals / Car parks / Sporting facilities etc Each installation is unique in every aspect.
As a result of increased workload, from repeat customers, a newly created position has become available for an experienced Structural Steel Estimator.
This client is completely open on whether the role is full time / Part time / PAYG or ABN. You will be judged on your results – not how long you sat at your desk.
Reporting directly to the MD – the person we are looking for will have.
- At least Five years’ experience in a similar environment in Australia – EG commercial /Industrial Builder or Quantity Surveying environment.
- Ability to get along with everyone – this is a small manufacturing / office environment with nowhere to hide.
- Up to date computer skills in Buildsoft / Cubit / Workflowmax etc
- A proven track record in being able to secure projects such as the above within Time, Cost & Quality.
- Trade background preferred – but not essential
- Ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to bring in new / prequalified customers would be a big plus.
- Checkable references.
