Our client are a long established Commercial / Industrial Construction Management Company who conduct a range of project such as new builds / Refurbishments /   Remedial repairs / etc. in Schools / Hospitals / Nursing Homes / Shopping Centres etc.

They have been operating in Sydney and Regional NSW for well over 100 years and employ over 200 plus Construction Management Professionals across their group of companies.

Due to Increased workload, a newly created position has become available for a Permanent Full Time Qualified Carpenter.

Reporting to an Operations Manager we are now looking for a RELIABLE Qualified Carpenter who can assist with day-to-day duties (EG Erect hoarding / hang doors / Wall framing and cladding / 2^nd Fix carpentry and other general duties as directed by the Operations Manager.

Other essential requirements are:

1. Unrestricted work rights in Australia.
2. Outstanding Oral and written communication skills.
3. Neat and tidy personal presentation.
4. Own Tools, Transport and PPE.
5. Recognisable Carpentry trade qualifications – please provide your Licence no with your job application so that we can verify on https://verify.licence.nsw.gov.au/home/Trades
6. Ability to follow instructions.
7. Ability to remain calm and get along with everyone.
8. Checkable References
9. Current Police Check – which MUST include working with vulnerable people and working with children.
10. Ability to identify hazards and opportunities- and immediately report those directly to the Operations Manager.
11. A Current First Aid Certificate would be a big plus.
