Preconstruction Coordinator / Contracts Administrator D&C Healthcare Fit outs

Established over twenty years ago, this customer have become a very successful quiet achiever in the Commercial Interior fit out industries – focusing mainly on healthcare related clients such as D&C solutions for Doctors / Dentists / Optometrists /  Vets etc.
 
You probably have never heard of them as all their work is negotiated from referrals as they DO NOT undertake hard dollar / Competitive tendering projects.
 
They specialise in the design and delivery of Health / Medical related projects ranging in value from $50K to $500K, in all states of Australia. .
 
They work nationally with private and public sector clients such as Medicare / Private Health Fund Providers / Animal Welfare Groups etc.
 
As a result of increased workload from repeat customers, they are now looking for an experienced/ Proactive Pre-Construction Coordinator / Contracts Administrator / Bid Coordinator who can assist the National Preconstruction Manager deliver tenders and projects within Time, Cost and Quality.
 
Working from a modern office in the Hills district and reporting to the National Preconstruction Manager the person we are looking for must have:
 

  1. Excellent Oral and written communication skills.
  2. Unrestricted work rights in Australia.
  3. Ability to compile and lodge paperwork to obtain statutory approvals for projects from Councils /Private certifiers etc.
  4. Exceptional /Proactive Organisation skills – IE – You must be able to follow up / chase up approvals through councils / body corporations / health boards / design professionals etc.
  5. Ability to handle multiple projects at any one time – in various stages of design and delivery.
  6. If necessary – be able to meet trades on site to carry out site Inspections and report back to senior management.
  7. Ability to scope works, negotiate supplier and subcontractor agreements when required.
  8. Ability to identify potential delays and report the same to senior management
  9. At least one or three years plus experience as a Contracts Administrator undertaking similar projects.( Please provide details in your job application )
  10. Own transport + good computer skills.
  11. Up to date experience on Procore / Cheops / Jobpac / Aconex / MS Office / Nexvia / Hammertech or Similar.
  12. Trade or academic background.
  13. Checkable references.
  14. Neat and tidy personal presentation as you will be dealing directly with clients in the medical profession.

 
 
Remuneration will be in line with experience.
